Jonar is the OSI Director of Special Inspections, and has over 14 Years of experience in the construction industry. Jonar studied at University of the East, Phillipines, graduated in 2005 with a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering, is a New York and Connecticut licensed professional engineer, and ICC certified in several inspector roles (residential/commercial, mechanical, residential/ commercial energy, fuel gas, structural welding, structural steel/bolting, and structural masonry).
Included among the many projects Jonar has inspected are ConEdison, School Construction Authority, Hudson Yards, both low and high-rise residential/condominium and commercial buildings.
In his role as Director of Special Inspections, his focus is on vetting registered design professionals during special inspections, approving special inspectors, monitoring onsite activities in progress, supervising inspectors, construction materials, and compliance with city and state codes.
